Navigating Difficult Conversations with Faculty is designed to help school leaders approach sensitive and high-stakes dialogue with confidence, clarity, and care. This session explores practical frameworks for initiating conversations around performance concerns, interpersonal conflict, and professional growth — equipping administrators with the tools they need to lead with both honesty and empathy. Whether you're addressing a longtime staff member or a newer team player, these strategies will help you prepare thoughtfully, communicate directly, and maintain trust throughout the process.
Together, we'll discuss how to move beyond avoidance and create a school culture where candid, constructive dialogue is the norm rather than the exception. From setting the right tone before a conversation begins to navigating emotional reactions and following through on next steps, this Town Hall equips school leaders with relationship-centered approaches that turn difficult moments into opportunities for growth, accountability, and stronger faculty partnerships.
